The projects we work on range from new houses with no landscaping to clients who just need a change. The images below capture the before and after of various projects.
#1 Klotz Residence - Yard Makeover This home previously had a steeply sloped bank for a yard. Ground Sense Landscaping transformed the yard into a multi-tiered yard, utilizing the slope of the bank to create areas of usable space including a patio, grassy area, hammock pergola and water feature. Landscaping included: • stairs leading up to the yard • old country tumbled stone patio • split-fishbone wall with a custom built-in bench • hammock area sheltered with a custom pergola • pondless water feature
#2 Running Horse Ranch - Entrance Landscaping included: • dry creek beds running alongside driveway • split-rail cedar fence • xeriscaping including drought-tolerant plants
#3 Sifton - Front and Backyard This aberdeen home got an entire makeover. The homeowner added a room, garage and new front entrance area. They came to Ground Sense Landscaping looking for ideas in the front, and to create a private, usable space in the backyard. One of the homeowners is a plant and garden lover, so she wanted plenty of smaller gardens to put in her annuals and perenials of choice. Landscaping included: • curved garden accent walls with plenty of planting areas • a walkway at the side of the house that leads to the backyard • new grass in front and back • contained beds in the back for planting • 20'x20' deck (composite) that separates the yard from entertaining area • a slab walkway at the back of the house
